Peter Facinelli Models a Mustache For Tonight's Twilight Reunion!
Peter Facinelli was one of the first Twilight cast members to arrive at the MTV Movie Awards in LA tonight! He made his way down the red carpet shortly after costar Nikki Reed made a gorgeous entrance on the arm of her American Idol boyfriend Paul McDonald. Kellan Lutz followed a few minutes behind Peter, as did Taylor Lautner. Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart will also be on the scene, since Robert Pattinson arrived on the West Coast yesterday in preparation for the big show. The cast is getting ready to take the stage to reveal the first Breaking Dawn trailer, but fans got an early sneak peek at Bella and Edward's wedding scene and romantic honeymoon when the Breaking Dawn trailer was released earlier today!

Facinelli Films options Fosberry books
"Nurse Jackie" star Peter Facinelli and his producing partner Robert DeFranco have optioned film and TV rights to Jennifer Fosberry's bestsellers "My Name Is Not Isabella" and "My Name Is Not Alexander" through their shingle Facinelli Films.
The two children's books depict tales of historical figures in a way that encourages kids to learn.
"My three children really enjoy these books," said Facinelli. "Jennifer's books are simply told, colorful and teach children a bit of history in a way that encourages them to dream of possibilities. Rob and I are so excited to bring these amazing stories to life on the big and small screen."
Both Sourcebooks Jabberwocky titles appeared on the New York Times Bestseller List this past April, prompting DeFranco to negotiate a deal.
"I had never imagined this amount of success when I first thought of Isabella and am very excited to reach an even wider audience through Facinelli Films," says Fosberry. "I can't wait to see where Isabella and Alexander will go next!"

@peterfacinelli Never Tires Of Meeting 'Twilight' Fans
Peter Facinelli never tires of meeting "Twilight" fans.
"When I get in a room filled with 'Twilight' fans there's so much energy in the room and it completely recharges my batteries," said Facinelli, by phone, earlier this week.
The actor, who portrays the father figure Carlisle Cullen in the "Twilight" movies was recently in Canada filming the last two installments of the popular series. He said filming was expected to be complete on the "Breaking Dawn" installment by the end of this week. It's expected to debut in the fall.
Facinelli will be prepared to engage in lots of "Twilight" talk - but can't spill any beans about the new movies - as well as his role in "Nurse Jackie" and other movies and television series when he makes an appearance Sunday at Westfield Hawthorn Shopping Center in Vernon Hills, Ill.
The actor will sign autographs, take pictures and talk with fans from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Macy's Court at Hawthorn. A V.I.P. Meet and Greet will take place from 11:30 a.m. to noon. His appearance is being done in conjunction with the charity Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and a portion of the proceeds from autographs and photos will benefit the group. Autographs cost $25 while photos are $40. (Cash only).
Facinelli said he's happy to support the foundation, which is dedicated to finding a cure for childhood cancer.
"Awhile back I was on the Internet and I read about Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation and the story was just so inspiring to me. Alex was 8 years old and she had cancer. She used to hold these lemonade stands outside of her house to try to raise funds to find a cure for her disease. When she passed away her parents took this idea and they created the Alex Lemonade Stand Foundation in honor of their daughter and to keep her memory alive in hopes of one day maybe parents like themselves wouldn't have to go through the trauma that they went through," he said.

Doctor Peter Facinelli, best known for his work as Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the hit Twilight movies, will be at the Sheboygan Memorial Mall on Saturday, April 30, from noon to 5 p.m. for an autograph session.
An originally scheduled appearance by Facinelli earlier this year was cancelled because of a family emergency.
The autograph session will take place in the Kohl’s Court. Autographs are $25, and photos are $40. Purchasing both is $65, with $10 for each additional person in the photo. Only cash will be accepted.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Memorial Mall and WXER radio station will also be giving away two pairs of meet-and-greet VIP passes. Information on how to win will be broadcast on WXER.

Peter Facinelli Talks "Nurse Jackie" and "Breaking Dawn" Wedding Scene
Peter Facinelli sounded a little exhausted when EW chatted with him on the phone last week — as he well should be. The actor has been flying to and from the set of Breaking Dawn in Vancouver, where the cast is filming “second unit” scenes (like stunts). What gives him an energy boost? Talking about what’s next for Coop on Showtime’s Nurse Jackie, following a big, life-changing moment for the doc on tonight’s episode. He explains (SPOILERS ahead):ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: So I hear something big is coming up for Coop this week. What can you tell us?
PETER FACINELLI: A bomb gets exploded in Coop’s life. He finds out that his two moms — who are basically his whole world — are getting a divorce. He gets blindsided by it, because he doesn’t see it coming at all. You know, Coop doesn’t take it well, and it spirals into a depression. It’s kind of sad for me to play that because Coop’s so energetic and hyper all the time. To have to play him in a funk it kind of sad.
Yeah. I was really sad when I pre-screened tonight’s episode and saw him in tears.
Awww.
…but then I started laughing when his reaction progressed.
Yeah, people always say, “Do you play things for laughs?” And I’m like, “No, the more dramatic I play things, the funnier he is.” [Laughs]
There’s a scene where he seeks comfort with Jackie tonight, and another right after his parents break the news. How did you keep a straight face?
I play everything for real. I’m being tortured in this scene and everyone is laughing at me. I go to dark places for Coop and everyone laughs. For me, he’s a very sympathetic character. A lot of people are like, “Oh, you play the jerk on Nurse Jackie.” But I don’t see him that way. I see him as someone who’s broken, and he’s someone who doesn’t mean any harm at all. So, for me, he’s very sympathetic. He’s not meant to be mean, but it comes across that way. He’s kind of oblivious.
How does this news affect him?
There are a couple of episodes where it’s a whole different Coop. And it stays with me, too. I remember doing a couple of episodes, and I’d feel really blue all the time.
How Method of you.
Sometimes you play things, and they resonate with you. That stuck with me.
So does Coop come back from this depression?
I don’t know how much I want to give away, but he turns to finding love in his own life instead of having the love of his parents. It no longer feels like he has that support system, so he buckles down and finds a family of his own to replace the one he doesn’t have anymore.
Do the rest of the staff/his friends help him along at all?
I think they know it’s Coop, and they let him go through his thing. He reaches out to everyone for hugs, but he’s not getting any. [Laughs]
Switching gears: Breaking Dawn. I know you’re on set, how does it feel winding it down?
It’s been a whirlwind. We’ve been filming for six months. You take it day by day. I feel good about what we’ve shot. Now it’s up to the editor, and I hope it all comes out well. At the end of the day, it’s hard because you don’t have control over how it’s put together. But I’ve seen some put together, and it looks pretty good. I’m excited to see the finished product.

"Twilight" franchise is running out. Though the last two installments,"Breaking Dawn" parts 1 and 2, won't hit theaters until Nov. 2011 and Nov. 2012, filming wraps in Canada next month.
Zap2it spoke with star Peter Facinelli on the occasion his April 25 episode of "Nurse Jackie," and the actor explained what it's like to be one of the last ones standing on the "Twilight" set.
"I'm getting a little nostalgic," he says, "but it hasn't really hit yet. We've been in the thick of it for six months. I'm starting to feel it where you go to the workplace and a lot of people are gone. and I'm missing them already."
Facinelli, who's still got a week left primarily doing stunt work, says that filming the two pictures back-to-back was different, but the real departure for "Breaking Dawn" was working with the huge ensemble of actors.
"It was pretty epic at one point in Baton Rouge," he says of the final installment's climax. "We were doing he scene where the Volturi and the Cullen family are standing off. We had 100 people going through hair and makeup... It was kind of a circus."

Peter Facinelli Talks ‘Breaking Dawn’ Wedding Day With MTV
Peter Facinelli (aka Carlisle Cullen) was interviewed by MTV recently and talked a little about the Breaking Dawn wedding scene!
Earlier this week, MTV News learned of an exciting “Twilight” and “American Idol” mash-up between Peter Facinelli and “Idol” castoff Paul McDonald on the “Loosies” soundtrack. Naturally, we couldn’t let Facinelli hang up the phone until we addressed another important subject matter: “Breaking Dawn.”“I still have another two weeks of second-unit stunt work, so for me, it doesn’t feel quite done yet,” he said. “I haven’t really had that moment of remorse or blues, you know, the blues of finishing. I’m in the midst of still finishing myself.”Regarding a few key scenes that his co-stars have mentioned — specifically the Taylor Lautner vs. Kristen Stewart fight scene — Facinelli agreed that seeing the much smaller Stewart take on Lautner was entertaining.“Oh yes, I was there for that,” he said. “[It was] very funny. … But you have to kick his butt a little bit,” Facinelli added about the idea of Lautner’s character Jacob imprinting on Bella and Edward’s daughter Renesmee.Although he couldn’t go into too much detail, we asked Facinelli to describe the heavily hyped wedding scene for us.“Beautiful and spectacular,” he said. “It’s funny, because whenever we have a big important scene on ‘Twilight’ [movies], it rains. I was doing the baseball sequence [from 'Twilight'], and it was raining. But you never see it on film,” he said of the filmmaking crew’s movie magic. “With this wedding, it rained the whole time we shot the two scenes. But you’ll never see it on film, they block out the rain. They put tarps up and you’ll never see it. But for us, it was very wet and muddy and cold.”
Peter is still filming too! I wonder what scenes. That is amazing how they can make it look like it’s not raining. Can’t wait to see the wedding.

Source : Via!Fans of Twilight may know Peter Facinelli as the DILF-y vampire Dr. Carlisle Cullen but there is more to PFac than playing Robert Pattinson‘s dad – the Queens-born actor is currently working onLoosies (a film that he wrote, produced and starred in) with his new production company, Facinelli Films. Peter took some time out of his hectic Breaking Dawn filming schedule to chat with Celebuzz about the making of Loosies and how he feels about Twilight finally coming to a close.Tell us a little bit about your character in Loosies.I play a pickpocket in New York who he lives with his mom [laughs] and his mom thinks he works on Wall Street. So, every day he walks out of the house in a suit and tie and he walks down to the subway and that’s his office and he just pickpockets the people all day. He’s a pickpocket because he’s in debt, his father left him with $500,000 in gambling debts, so he has to pay off the person that his father was indebted to which isVincent Gallo‘s character so it kind of took his life into a whole different direction.He lives this fast, loose kind of Steve McQueen kind of lifestyle and one day he gets tapped on the shoulder and this girl that he had a one night stand with tells him that she’s pregnant and his whole world just kind of collapses around him because he has to grow up and take responsibility for something, so it’s a fun story.What was your motivation for starting your own production company, Facinelli Films, and creating your own films?You know I had a couple of films that I had written and I thought it was time to get them off the ground. I wrote a television movie for the Hallmark Channel that aired last month and that my wife [Jennie Garth] starred in called Accidentally in Love and it did really well in the ratings so I was really happy about that. Loosies was the second movie that I had written and we shot it last August and are now in the middle of post-production.To be able to create something and give other people a job and have the whole crew working on something that was just an idea in your head, that was very exciting for me.You mentioned that you are in the middle of shooting Breaking Dawn, is it a bittersweet feeling to know that the Twilight Saga is coming to a close?Yeah. I mean, we’re so busy working that I don’t think that we’ve wrapped our heads around the fact that it’s ending soon. We still have another month to go so right now we’re just knee-deep in the work of it. I haven’t really given much thought to it being over. Even when it’s over, the films will be coming out over the next two years so I’ll still see everybody.

Peter Facinelli Interview with Pioneer Local
Peter was interviewed by pioneerlocal.com ahead of a planned (since postponed) appearance at Westfield Hawthorn Shopping Center, Vernon Hills, IL. His appearance has been rescheduled for Sunday 1st May.
PIONEER: Before "Twilight," had you ever imagined yourself playing a vampire?
PETER FACINELLI: Not really. In fact, when my agent called me up to ask if I'd like to play a vampire, at first I said no, because I was imagining a standard horror-movie scenario, with lots of violence and gore. But he said I should read the book, that it had a passionate underground following -- this was before it series really took off -- and that it was actually more of a romance than a vampire story. Also that it was very popular with women. That appealed to me. So I checked it out and discovered that Dr. Cullen was a thoughtful, peaceful man who just happened to be a vampire -- and was trying very hard to hold onto his humanity. So I thought, this is something I'd like to do.
PIONEER: Isn't it just a little frustrating to play a good-guy vampire? Do you ever wish Dr. Cullen would cut loose and do something monstrous?
FACINELLI: That sort of character doesn't interest me. To the extent that I ever imagined playing a vampire, it was always one who is more mysterious than monstrous -- like Bela Lugosi in "Dracula." The brutal, horrific stuff never appealed to me. I've always been more interested in the character of Carlisle than the idea of playing a vampire, and being a good guy is what he's all about.
PIONEER: What's it like being the vampire father figure in "Twilight" when, in fact, you're not so different in age from the other actors?
FACINELLI: Well, in terms of my actual age, it's true: I'm not much older than a big brother to Robert Pattinson, for example. But in terms of the age of our characters, I'm 350 while Edward is only 100 or so. So Carlisle has that life experience, or undead experience, that makes him a natural patriarch. That's something you might not see right away when you look at him, but you can see it in his bearing and the way the other characters relate to him. It helps that I'm a father myself; I think that's something the producers had in mind from the beginning. It's never been a problem for me.
PIONEER: What's it been like being involved in such an enormously female cultural phenomenon?
FACINELLI: I think the films have their share of male fans, especially now that the stories are becoming more action-oriented as the series progresses. But I love the fact that "Twilight" is something that particularly appeals to women. That's something I enjoyed about the books from the beginning. I grew up with sisters, so I know something about what it's like to be in a world that's male-oriented in so many ways. It's very rewarding to me to see a theater crowded with women enjoying a story that appeals to them directly and specifically. I love being a part of that.
PIONEER: What question are you asked most often about working on these films?
FACINELLI: Usually, people want to hear anecdotes about production and stories about working with the other actors. They're curious about what it's like working on the set -- more than people usually are about movie-making. And the answer is that we all work very hard on them. We try to have a good time, and we do, but we know how much people love these films -- and we take that very seriously.
PIONEER: We won't ask if you're Team Edward or Team Jacob. . .
FACINELLI: Actually, that's the question people ask most often. (Laughing) But I'm Team Edward of course, he's family.
PIONEER: . . . but if you, personally, had to choose between being a vampire or a werewolf, which would it be?
FACINELLI: Oh, a vampire, definitely. I love the idea of living a long, long time and having the opportunity to keep learning about life.
PIONEER: But you'd be a kinder, gentler vampire?
FACINELLI: Absolutely. (Laughing) A vegetarian.
