Lily Collins Gets the MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet Started!

A Dolce & Gabbana-clad Lily Collins was one of the first stars to hit the carpet at this evening's MTV Movie Awards in LA! She's gearing up for tonight's big show, which is also expected to bring out her pal Taylor Lautner. Lily and Taylor are costars in the upcoming Abduction, but today is all about Twilight for him. He'll be on hand with his cast-mates Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, though we already got a look at their Breaking Dawn: Part One trailer!

Looks like various members of the film industry got to see a screening of Taylor’s upcoming action flick Abduction at Cannes, and that it went over very well!

No Exit applauded at Cannes

The Movie No Exit (Abduction, 2011) was screened at Cannes, only to sectors of the film industry and was a success, applauded at the end of the projection.The film is Taylor Lautner (Twilight Saga) the role of Nathan Harper, a young man who experiences the strange sensation of having someone else’s life.

Lily Collins comments on Taylor Lautner's fans

Lily Collins stars alongside Taylor Lautner in the new movie “Abduction,” which is hitting theaters on September 23, 2011. Lily recently spoke about Taylor and his popularity, saying:

I hope if I ever have to deal with fame I handle it with the grace that Taylor Lautner does. He had 600 girls waiting outside the set for him one night and we didn’t finish filming until about 5am but he still went out for over an hour and signed all the autographs and posed for photographs. He’s extremely handsome and I like a guy who isn’t afraid to be himself. A sense of humor is important and I like someone who is confident and can show vulnerability as well as being strong.

Taylor Lautner merasa nyaman bermesraan dengan Lily Collins! Eits, tapi  jangan buru-buru bikin gosip dulu. Mereka beradegan ciuman untuk film terbaru mereka, Abduction. Yap, pemeran Jacob Black di serial film Twilight ini memang beradu akting dengan putrinya musisi senior Phill Collins. 

Awalnya, mantan pacarnya Taylor Swift ini mengaku nggak begitu mengenal Lily saat syuting baru dimulai. Tapi, kemudian mereka dengan cepat bisa saling akrab. "Aku nggak begitu mengenal dia tadinya. Kami sudah pernah bertemu beberapa kali, tapi dia membuatku terpesona. Dia keren. Dia sangat berbakat," ungkap Taylor.

Makanya, saat Taylor harus mencium Lily di depan kamera, dia nggak menemukan kesulitan. "Tergantung pada orangnya (lawan main) dan vibe di antara kami, karena kadang-kadang (adegan ciuman) bisa benar-benar bikin grogi. Tapi jika kita merasakan momennya dan benar-benar menghidupkan karakternya, kita akan lupa pada yang lain. It was totally fine," cerita Taylor.

The announcement Friday that Lily Collins would play the title character in the other Snow White movie (or is Kristen Stewart's the other Snow White movie?) offers a rare chance to compare two actors who'll take on the same role at virtually the same time. Which one is best suited to play the fairy-tale heroine? We grade them on seven key characteristics.
Likability. Snow White has to be relatable if not downright sweet, Mia Wasikowska's Alice if not Anne Hathaway's princess. Stewart doesn't do smiling well. Collins, on the other hand, is a beaming presence who practically gushed to HitFix when she got the role. Advantage: Collins
Resume. Even at 21, Stewart has a lot of acting experience, not just in three "Twilight" movies but dramas such as "The Runaways" and "Welcome to the Rileys." Collins' most prominent role is as the daughter you nearly forgot amid Sandra Bullock's Oscar-winning performance in "The Blind Side." Advantage: Stewart
Tonsoriality. it's all about the hair. Stewart's can be lustrous, as in the photo above, but it can also be gothy, stringy, unprincessy. Plus she's always tugging at it. Not very Snow White. Collins' is long, flowing, Rapunzel-like. Advantage: Collins
Pedigree. Stewart's father was a stage manager, giving him some everyman respectability. Collins' father was the man who gave the world "Su-su-sudio." Advantage: Heavily Stewart
Attractiveness. Always a subjective category. We'll defer to the experts. Collins landed on Maxim's list of the 20 hottest daughters of rock stars. Kristen Stewart failed to make Maxim's Hot 100 last year, though did merit an FHM mention. Advantage: Collins (despite the loose definition of "rock star")
Slyness. Mental acuity is just as much a part of Snow White as physical beauty; after all, you need to outsmart the queen and her evil designs. Collins went to Harvard-Westlake and is studying journalism at USC. Stewart left organized education in the seventh grade. Advantage: Heavily Collins
Fleetfootedness. You have to outrun the huntsman and anyone else the queen will send after you. As Bella Swan, Stewart has plenty of on-screen practice running away from the bad guys, even if she mumbles incoherently while she does it. Collins has mostly avoided any pursuer-type situations. Advantage: Stewart
