Anyone who's been to Comic Con in support of Twilight knows that some of the other attendants have expressed their dismay (whether warranted or not) over the Saga's inclusion in the convention.
This is the latest of several new Twilight references in popular culture. To be fair, the episode also jabbed at Harry Potter, Star Trek, Friends, and multiple other franchises. Still, it counts as another example of Twilight becoming such a big part of pop culture.
