While Robert Pattinson was in Paris at the time, he was still keen on The Royal Wedding as this extravagant event took place less than a week ago between Kate Middleton and Prince William not far away in London.
A new interview has the Twilight star telling about how he watched as these two high profile Brits became a married couple. One source reports what Robert Pattinson said of the wedding:
"I was in Paris working and I was doing these interviews and the TV was behind the interviewer so I was watching it. I was surprised how interesting I thought it was."
RPatz commented about how good it was to see his UK counterparts "so happy in England." Then this actor, most associated with the Hollywood elite, said, "....everyone [of my fellow Brits] normally look so miserable walking down the street and [with the Royal Wedding] you see everyone waving their flags. It looks very sweet."
