Casting call for "Ides of March"!

I just found this great news from Ann Arbor.com, that "Ides of March" is currently opening a casting call for extras! The George Cloone-directed movie is reportedly going to film on University of Michigan's Ann Arbor Campus in week of March 14. They are looking for 'thousands' volunteer extras to film the scenes. More details:

Anyone interested and able to commit a full (up to 12 hours) weekday to being on the set of the movie is asked to e-mail their name, age, height, weight, phone number, and a recent picture or two to IoMExtras@gmail.com, with "March Volunteer" in the subject line.

The bulk of "Ides"' filming is slated to take place around Detroit and Cincinnati. The film will star Clooney, as well as Ryan Gosling, Paul Giamatti, Marisa Tomei, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Evan Rachel Wood.

Based on Beau Willimon's play "Farragut North," "Ides" casts Clooney as a Howard Dean-type presidential hopeful, while Gosling plays the lead character — a wunderkind press secretary who finds himself embroiled in the ugly world of back-room politics.

I wish I lived in the US! Hopefully for those of you who are signing up for this will have a great time on the set (don't forget to take pictures with Evan!)
